I can't believe that the Canucks lost tonight!
The Canucks have decided to try their luck once again in the shoot-out This team has always been below average in the shoot out since it was introduced. The shooters do not seem to know how to score and the goalies do not know how to save a shot. I am extremely disappointed with the final result of tonight's game.

So many Canucks games but so little time to watch
It seems like every other day the Canucks are having more back to back double header games. I wonder how long the team can maintain this very high pace of games before players start getting injured. The Canucks now have three games in the next four day! At least they are on a California road trip instead of sitting here in Vancouver with us like suckers.

Canucks finally win a hockey game!
I was looking forward to tonight's Canucks game versus the Calgary Flames, but I was also very nervous at the same time. I had many thoughts going through my mind including whether the Canucks can win a game against a desperate team like the Flames, and how would Cory Schneider react to being back in net. The game is now over and the Canucks barely scratched out a win in the shoot-out, but the team and Schneider both looked great tonight so I'm very exited to see what happens next time.

I can not believe that it is almost time for the Canucks season opener!
I am very much looking forward to the Canucks season opener on Saturday. I do not expect the team to win the Stanley cup but for some reason I have a feeling that the coming season is going to be a good one. Maybe I am just very happy to finally be able to watch some live hockey instead of continuous bickering between the NHL and the player's association.Go Canucks Go!

Canucks sign yet another defenseman
I woke up today and read on TSN NHL news that the Canucks have signed another depth defenseman. I am very happy that the Canucks have been excellent on defence for many years now and will be for many more to come. Although in my opinion, the Canucks are extremely lacking in the forward position in terms of players that can actually score goals. This team is going to have a hard time challenging for the Stanley cup this season if they do not get a replacement for Ryan Kesler before Saturday's season opener.

Kesler still out with no date for his return
Ryan Kesler was certainly one of our best players last season. The current status for Kesler is considered as month to month. Therefore he will not be back in a Canucks uniform for at least another month if not more. I hope the Canucks have some good ideas about who is going to become the team's new number two center. In my educated opinion, the Canucks are going to once again be a one line team this year.

Boring lockout news instantly replaced by repetitive Luongo trade rumours
The NHL lockout is officially over and the focus has now shifted to the players once again. There is so much speculation about the future of Roberto Loungo that I do not know what to believe any more. In my highly educated opinion, Mike Gillis should make Loungo available on the market but only trade him for a player of equal or greater value. Personally, I am very tired of all this trade speculation and would like to see some live hockey already!
